What's new in the latest version?

There are lots of new goodies is Speaker Mute. Have a look at the release notes to see what's new.

I've installed Speaker Mute, now how do I shut it off?

Download Disable Speaker Mute 1.0.zip and run the application to disable Speaker Mute. This will require your administrator password, so feel free to keep a copy locally. I suggest you keep it some place handy like your Utilities folder inside Applications.

While you're at it, don't forget to download Enable Speaker Mute 1.0.zip so that you can turn it back on.

I've installed Speaker Mute, but decided it wasn't for me. How can I uninstall it?

Uninstalling Speaker Mute can be a little tricky because, unlike a normal application, there is not bundle sitting in your Applications folder. Instead you will have to delete the following files:

After you delete these files, you simply need to restart your computer and Speaker Mute will be gone forever.
